Baptism is not just plain water, but it is water used by God’s command and combined with God’s word. Jesus says in Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” To follow Jesus’ command, we make disciples by baptizing and teaching.

Before being baptized at St. Matthew's, you will need to meet with our pastor to review what the Bible says about baptism and to talk about the baptism day. The entire meeting consists of Sunday morning worship from 9:30am-10:30am, adult and children's ministry from 11:00am-12:00pm, and the baptism meeting with our pastor from 12:00pm-1:00pm. St. Matthew's will provide lunch for you and your family. What is the next Sunday (from 9:30am-1:00pm) you will be able to attend this meeting?
