"Love one another as I have loved you. Everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another."
-- John 13:34-35
With people from 26 different ethnicities at St. Matthew's, we like to find many appropriate ways to show love so people feel comfortable here.
We're trying to be like Jesus. He loves everyone. We do too.

Memory Verse of the Month
2 Peter 1:5-8
"Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self control; and to self control, perseverence; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from becoming ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. "
St. Matthew's is in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. WELS, characterized as theologically conservative, is the third largest Lutheran church body in America. WELS began in 1850 when three German pastors met in Milwaukee. Today, it has grown to over 1,200 congregations in North America. It has about 400,000 baptized members, which includes about 300,000 communicants, served by over 1,000 pastors.
